Here on Kwaj we beat up our gear hard, and if that weren't bad enough everything is stored in hot humid weather a few feet from the lagoon, and a few hunded feet from the ocean.
I've gone through litterally a dozen pair of various goggles in the past 6 odd years of PWC ownership and have yet to find the perfect goggles. Everything is a tradeoff, better watter protection vs better ventilation to keep them defogged. Clean them with soap every time before you use them and they will be stay much more fog free.
Here on Kwaj the speed limit is 15mph, and towing boats never goes over 5 for a distance of maybe a few hundred yards max. Most of the ski's are actually parked under a hundred feet from the boat ramp and just pushed around by hand.,
Big Foot Quite simply the best slow speed corossion resistant trailer we've discovered. All aluminum frame with stainless hardware with composite rims and nylon bushings means one of our 7+ year old trailers looks nearly new, despite having outlived several ski's. They are not designed for use above 5mph, but in a slow speed sand/salt enviroment, they can't be beat.
Aqua Cart is the runner up to the Big Foot. All aluminum, stainless, composite & plastic construction thwart corossion with the best of them. However the aluminum tubing isn't quite a sturdy as I'd like, and the extra joints that allow it to be dissassembled to small easily shipped parts tend to make the trailer flex a bit more. The hard plastic bunks on the 2 newest ones on-island haven't been gentil to the the hulls's the support marring the finish a bit. Still a very good salt/sand slow speed trailer.
Kory's beach cart This cart is a piece of junk. Not only were parts slightly warped pieces of iron that rusted into oblivion in under 8 months, but the poor design with no way to easily tie off a ski is responsible for sending my 2003 XPdi skidding off the cart down the ramp no less than 2 times. It might work for a shop or something, but don't plan on using it in the real world.
